Ayacucho, Peru / Personal Housing Expenses

A loan of $1,125 helped to buy cement, bricks and iron bars for his house.

Cesar's story

Cesar is 25 years old. He is a young single man who lives in a rented house and works to get ahead in the future. Cesar works from early in the day growing coffee, cocoa as well as clearing the weeds growing between the plants. He has been working as a labourer for 5 years and is always to be found where his help is needed. What he likes the most is leaving his neighbours happy after working with their crops, as he works very well and he believes that the hardest thing is to have to work hard to pay his way. In the future, he is thinking of building a house where he can live in peace and without having to pay any rent for where he lives. This will be his 3rd loan with MFP and he is very happy for the financial support as he feels sure that he will reach his goal. He is well-liked by everyone in his communal bank and he is involved in all the meetings that take place. With the 3,000 soles (PEN) he will be able to buy the building materials for his home such as: cement, iron bars, bricks.
