Mrs. Meak P., 44, works on her piece of land breeding pigs and typically makes about three dollars each day. Her husband is currently employed by a private company as a truck driver also earning about three dollars per day. They have three school age children. One child is employed at a nearby hospital as a surgeon.
Mrs. P. has requested a loan amount of $1200 to purchase surgical tools for her son to improve his ability to perform his job at the hospital.
