Meas's story

Mrs. Meas S., 39, is married with six children and lives with her husband in a part of PreyVeng province, Cambodia. She opened her business in 2004 selling provisions of food and other grocery items. She typically earns around three dollars each day. Her husband is a village chief earning three dollars a day and helps his wife when he is available. One of her married sons works as a driver and the rest of the children are enrolled in school.

Mrs. Meas S. will use this loan to purchase more grocery products to expand her inventory and to repair her son’s car.
