LWAMIRA Pélagie est présidente du groupe de crédit dynamique , cliente au 7eme cycle de crédit, mariée, mère de trois enfants dont le dernier est en première année de graduat et 2 sont déjà mariés. Elle vend des articles divers notamment des couvertures, draps, des ustensiles de cuisine…Elle commença son commerce en 1997 avec l’aide de son mari en vendant des légumineuses (haricot, petit poids…). Elle sollicite un crédit de 300$ pour renforcer son chiffre d’affaire en achetant une quantité importante d’ustensiles de cuisine, des couvertures…Elle remercie l’IMF HEKIMA pour les crédits qu’elle reçoit sans garantie matérielle car elle a pu scolarisée tous ces trois enfants et elle projette acheter une parcelle dans l’avenir.

HEKIMA is a microfinance institution headquartered in Goma, Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), with branch offices in Goma and Bukavu. HEKIMA aims to contribute to the transformation of the economic, social, and spiritual lives of the economically active poor of the DRC. To this end, HEKIMA provides its clients with solidarity group loans to support income-generating activities. Despite ongoing instability and violence in its operating areas, HEKIMA continues to keep its doors open and provide credit and savings services for its over 90% female clientele.
