Bubutay's story

Bubutay is a 66-year-old pensioner and a window. She had worked as a seamstress for a long time and is now involved in sewing national goods that are in high demand among the local population. Bubutay is a mother of seven children and a grandmother of 21 grandchildren. In search of a financial source, her family started their own animal husbandry and farming business in 1995. Thanks to her diligent work, Bubutay has two dairy cows, one calf, three work horses and a plot of land with potatoes and wheat in her household today. In order to further develop her business, Bubutay requested a loan in the sum of 100,000 som (KGS) from the "Bai-Tushum and Partners" company for the purchase of bulls. Bubutay will invest part of the income from the loan into feeding livestock and part into house repairs.
