Miwononvi Group's story

The Miwononvi group is made up of two people who both live in Bénin. The representative of the group, named Mariam, has her hand raised in the photo. This is the fourth time that this group has requested financial help through ALIDé in order to grow their business. Mariam is 36 years old and is married to a refrigeration specialist name Marcel. Mariam has four children. All have been educated and two are still in her care. Mariam lives with her husband and children. Together, the couple meets their different needs. Mariam left school at the primary level. She has been making and delivering pure water to people’s homes for five years. She also sells water from the pump. This allows her to meet the needs of her family without too much difficulty. In order to meet the demands of her customers, Mariam wants to increase her stock of products and to raise the level of her business. To do this, Mariam is requesting, along with the other member of the Miwononvi group, a fourth loan through ALIDé.
