Merlinda is 53 years old. She is a widow with four children.
Merlinda works hard to provide for her family. She runs a sari-sari (variety) store in the Philippines and requested a 15,000 Philippines pesos loan through NWTF to buy more items to sell.
Merlinda has borrowed and repaid seven loans from NWTF before this loan. She has been running the sari-sari store for 25 years and also earns an income from farming sugarcane.
Merlinda aspires to save money to expand her business.
