Blanca Ines's story

Blanca is a member of the Poloma communal bank. She lives in a community located in the parish of El Valle (Cuenca). It is a place characterized by its beautiful landscapes. Its people maintain their culture and traditions. They are charismatic and friendly and work in trade, raising animals and in farming. Many work in the city in different activities.

Blanca is 19 years old, single and lives in her parents house. Her father works as a carpenter and her mother raises animals. Her parents own their house.

She works in a beauty salon part time Monday though Saturday.

This is her first loan with the communal bank, which she was invited to join by her sister. The money from the loan will be invested un buying pigs and chickens to start this activity.
