A loan helped to pay her suppliers and stock her store for Christmas.

Patricia Helena's story

Patricia lives in the Amaga, a town in southeastern Antioqueno. She lives with her husband and their two children. She owns a store where she sells clothing for men, women and children. She also sells school uniforms and other school supplies at the time of year when they are most in demand.

Patricia says that she is lucky because her business is the only one in town that sells school uniforms. She adds that she always muddles through even though she sometimes finds it difficult to cover all of her expenses.

Patricia needs a loan to buy new merchandise and stock her business for the coming Christmas season. The loan will allow her to mollify her suppliers, increase her sales and, in turn, improve her family's quality of life.
