Jorge Enrique's story

Jorge, age 26, lives in the village of Cofradía. He is married to Alba, and he has two children. His daughter is five years old, and she goes to school. His son is three years old.

Jorge rents a place in Cofradía where he has a jewelry and watch store. He learned this trade together with his mother, with whom he worked for ten years. Two years ago he established his own place. He had the wish to have his own place and to increase his income. He works with his wife in the store.

In his place he buys and sells jewelry and watches, and he repairs watches and jewelry. The repairs consist of changing batteries and watchbands.

Jorge will use the loan of 20,000 lempiras to expand his services and to offer to pawn gold and silver objects.

His goal is to set up various stores in the area in order to be able to give his family a better financial future.
