A loan of $1,125 helped to buy panettones, chocolate, flour and butter to stock her bakery.

Maribel's story

27-year-old Maribel is a hard-working woman who lives together with her mom, Elva, and her two sisters, Celeste and Ariana, who she cares for in her own home which is located in the small village of San Pedro de Saño. She supported her parents in their different business activities since she was a young girl. As the eldest sister, she took over the reins of the household and, some years ago, she opened a bakery where she started making bread. Over time, she also started making pies, cakes and other flour-based products. She is doing very well in her work and receives help from her mom and sisters. This allowed her to open another business (an Internet cafe). She started out with four machines and now has nine. Her plans are to further expand her businesses and invest in technology by purchasing new machines which will allow her to make good profits.

Maribel belongs to the San Pedro community bank and this is her second loan from MFP. She hopes to receive your cooperation so that she can continue achieving her goals. For her part, she pledges once again to make her repayments on time. Maribel enjoys being a member of her community bank because all the members are responsible and very supportive people. With your support, Maribel will invest the money she has requested in buying panettones, chocolate, flour and butter for this Christmas season.
