A loan of $375 helped to purchase 10 kilos of alfalfa seed and sacks of fertilizer.

Edwin's story

Edwin, age 28, is a hardworking man. He has lived with his wife, Nely, for 5 years. They have three children, David, Juan, and Jerson, whom they care for in their own house, located in the community of Pamuri.

Like a good man of the countryside, every morning Edwin gets up very early in order to feed his 8 cows which give milk that he needs to make cheese. He says he prepares an average of 30-40 “rolls” (small cheeses) which he sells in the city of Pampas at the Sunday markets and to customers who constantly visit his house.

In addition, he likes long walks in the green fields. That’s why he will never stop planting his principal crops consisting of peas, corn, and alfalfa that he sells in the city market after each harvest.

Now, he wants to work more each day and thus have the capital necessary in order to think about new businesses. He belongs to the “Santa Cruz” communal bank and this is his first loan with MFP. He hopes for the support of all of you in order to continue towards his objectives. In addition, he promises to be punctual with the payments of his installments. Upon receiving his loan, Edwin will invest the money applied for in the purchase of 10 kilos of alfalfa seed as well as fertilizer for preparing the soil.
