The “Las Residentas” group is a well-structured, diligent, unified and sisterly committee of 10 women from the city of Villarrica; they are all neighbors and friends. They meet every two weeks to proviD. support for each other in their struggle to improve their economic situation.

One of the group members is Emilia. She’s a dressmaker, an occupation that allows her to support her entire family. She comments that she has many customers that always bring her work to do which suits her interests because it means good income for her.

She requests the loan to buy fabric, thread, lace and others which are the indispensable supplies for her workshop. She, as well as her committee, is very happy for the help from the Fundación and from Kiva.

El grupo “Las Residentas” es un comité D. 10 mujeres D. excelente estructura, unidas, diligentes y fraternales entre ellas. Estas señoras son D. la ciudad D. Villarrica, todas son vecinas y amigas. Se reúnen quincenalmente para brindarse apoyo y ayuda las unas a las otras en su afán D. mejorar sus situación económica.
Una D. las integrantes es la señora Emilia es modista, oficio que le permite sacar adelante a toda su familia. Comenta que tiene muchos clientes que siempre le traen trabajo para hacer, lo cual a ella le conviene, pues le trae muy buenos ingresos.
Ella solicita el crédito para la compra D. telas, hilos, encajes y otros, los cuales son los insumos indispensables para su taller. Ella al igual que su comité está muy contenta con la ayuda D. la fundación y D. kiva.
