A loan of $2,025 helped a member to buy ornamental plants for resale.

Mujeres Bonitas Group's story

This committee was formed thanks to the support of Mariana who contacted her friends and neighbors to form the group in her area. The committee is called 'Mujeres Bonitas' (Beautiful Women) and its fifteen members are in their first loan cycle. They have a great entrepreneurial spirit and work together to carry out activities to collect funds which can save the committee should the need arise.

Mariana's business is selling ornamental plants. She tells us that she has good sales as she has a lot of customers who like the plants that she sells. Thanks to this work she manages to contribute towards covering her household's daily expenses. Mariana is requesting this loan to buy plants which will give her a greater variety to show her customers and, at the same time, attract new customers.
