Amiran is 29-year-old farmer from the village of Kheoti, South Georgia. Amiran is married and lives with his family: his wife, Maya, and two children, a 5-year-old son and 3-year-old daughter. Maya is a housewife. Amiran earns his income through his family's agricultural activities. In particular, he grows different vegetables on family-owned land. The harvested products are sold in Akhaltsikhe, a nearby town. The family's total average monthly income is 500 Laris.
Amiran requested credit for purchasing additional land (approximately 0.5 hectare). He will be able to grow more vegetables and increase his family's income. Amiran plans to use increased income to ensure a better future for his children.
