Marach D(Vi) Group's story

The leader of this small group is Hafuswa Namboozo. She is currently in the business of selling new clothes and is requesting a loan to increase her stock of clothes. Hafuswa is 24 years old. Each week, Hafuswa makes approximately UGX 20000 in profits and with the extra profits from her loan, she hopes to be able to help her husband in the construction of their new house. Previously, Hafuswa had a loan from BRAC Uganda in the amount of UGX 150000 in order to invest in her business, and the loan was paid back on time. Hafuswa is joined in her small group by Hajara A., Fatuma J. and Fatuma N.. Hajara A. has a business selling used clothes and wants to expand her business. Fatuma J. is currently operating a retail shop and wants a loan to purchase additional stock. Fatuma N. operates a business selling used clothes and wants to expand the business.
