A loan of $750 helped to hire farmworkers.

Teodosio's story

Teodosio, 57, is married to Anatolia, 54; their six children are the fruit of this love. Together they live in their own house in the district of Pichari.

Since he was very little Teodosio loved to be in the country during the times when his parents were working in agriculture, so he followed in his parents' footsteps. He feels grateful for the support that they continue offering him today, and with all that he learned he made forays into growing cacao, coffee, and citrus.

With the passing of time, little by little he increased his production and, although there are some inconveniences, he always is prepared to be able to handle them. He continued in this job with the idea of embarking on a better future for his family and himself. He almost always gets the help of his beloved wife and children, but occasionally he needs farmworkers.

He sells his product in the warehouses in the district of Pichari. What he most desires is to acquire more land, with the goal of expanding his crops and producing in quantity and, consequently, having a better income.

This will be his second loan with MFP, and he is committed once again to making his payments punctually.

With the 2000 PEN he is requesting, he will hire farmworkers to help him clear and fertilize his plot of land.
