Eduardo's story

Eduardo is 35 years old and lives in the Omoa municipality. He lives with his life partner, Brenda, and his two year old son. Eduardo’s parents also live with him. In order to support the five of them Eduardo has to work very hard.

For ten years Eduardo has been selling jewelry on the sidewalk by the supermarket. That is where he sells a great variety of merchandise like wallets, bracelets, hair accessories, make-up, nail polish, and earrings, among other things. He decided to establish this business because he saw that it was very profitable.

Through the years he has made his business grow through his good administration. One of the difficulties that Eduardo faces in his business is the high frequency of robbery.

With this loan for 21,000 lempiras Eduardo will buy more merchandise to increase his inventory and maximize his earnings. He is going to start showing his merchandise in a new, fixed location at a local fair in Puerto Cortés. That is where he will be able to sell his merchandise with more ease and with greater security.
