Mexico / Beauty Salon

A loan of $300 helped to buy products for her beauty salon.

Yolanda's story

Señora Yolanda cuts and dyes hair, does acrylic nails, shapes eyebrows, and gives manicures and pedicures. She has had a beauty salon for three years. She likes her business a lot because it gives her good earnings and because she has dreamed of being a stylist since she was a little girl.

She is twenty years old, and at this time she has no children, but she would like to have a little girl. She is happily married to Señor Luis, who is 30 years old and has a cyber cafe.

One of her dreams is to enlarge her business and learn more about beauty. What she enjoys most is putting on nails. It is what pleases her most and is what she wants to learn more about.

She decided to have her own business so that she wouldn't depend so much on her husband but also on herself.

She applied for the loan to buy more materials for her beauty salon such as dyes, rollers, liquids for relaxing and curling hair, and an iron. She gives thanks to the foundation for the support that it has given her to accomplish her dreams and keep on dreaming.
