A loan of $375 helped thread, fabric, rings, and needles to make traditional clothes.

Alba's story

Alba has been making crafts and weaving cloth for four years. She likes to knit and draw on the cloth. She has two children, one daughter and one son-- Alma Yosaleth who is three years old and Ángel Martín who is five years old.

She is happily married to Martín who is 38 years old and who she thanks for all the support he has given her. One of her dreams is to have a local shop where she can display her merchandise and sell fabric to earn more money.

She has asked for a loan to buy more merchandise to make traditional clothing: threads, wires, hoops, needles and colored handles. She thanks the foundation for the support they’ve given her to continue growing as a woman and as an artist.
