A loan of $3,200 helped a member to buy chicks, chicken feed, and veterinary products.

Sunu Gie Group's story

The group "Sunu GIE" is an association whose members work raising animals, notably poultry. Its members have a chicken yard where they raise their fryers for three months before selling them on the local market. These activities bring in considerable income which allows them to support themselves and help cover some expenses for their families. The leader of the group, sitting in the middle, is the mother of three children who all attend school. By raising chickens, she pays their school fees and most of their health-related expenses. The group is asking for a loan of 1,500,000 francs to buy chicks, chicken feed, and veterinary products.
