A loan of $825 helped to buy more household products for sale.

Salin's story

Salin is 24 years old. She is married to Maurice and they have two children. Salin has a hawking (vending) business in Muhuru and has been doing this for the last six years. She sells a range of household products like sandals, padlocks, utensils, paper bags, and many more.

She makes a monthly income of KES.6,000. She is taking out a second loan which she will use to buy more household products for sale.

She will use the anticipated profits to plough back into the business and also to cover basic needs for her family like food and clothing.
