To purchase the food for the cow, she will need to go to a nearby city which is some three hours from her home. She will have to grab a ride on a pick-up, and then two buses. Alternatively, she could get get together with her neighbors to pay for a truck and transport all their products together.

With the purchase of the cow, she will have a source of income for her household and will be able to look after her children as well as make milk products from home. This will improve her quality of life, and she will be able to save money by not purchasing cheese, milk and cream, among other things, because she will be producing them herself.
