A loan of $1,075 helped to set up her own business, buy stock and make the necessary alterations to open a vegetable store.

Maria Eugenia's story

For several years Maria Eugenia has dreamed of having her own business. It is for this reason that she is asking for a loan with which to start this process, as she currently lacks the money necessary to start her small enterprise. Maria Eugenia is an enterprising woman and mother of 2 children for whom she works in the hopes of providing them with a better future and now that her economic situation is so critical, she is looking for a way of making a fixed monthly income that will improve their quality of life.

Maria Eugenia will invest the loan to make alterations to premises to set up her vegetable store, buy merchandise with which to stock the store such as fruit, vegetables, legumes and finally set up the business to position it so that her neighbours and customers start to recognize her.
