A loan of $925 helped to buy a cow.

Julia's story

Julia, 63, is a responsible woman. She lives with her husband, Julián, and they have been together for 40 years. They have nine children, of which only one still lives at home, Víctor, who they care for in their own house in the Acraquia annex. This is a livestock farming area where all the inhabitants raise quality cattle. Approximately 20 years ago Julia began raising cattle in this area. Now she has four dairy cows and three calves who give her milk which she uses to make cheese. She produces an average of 18 small cheese balls a day. She and her husband also grow crops, mainly potatoes, lima beans, peas and corn which they take good care of in order to make a good profit at harvest time. Their goal now is to improve their crops and livestock, and through hard work and commitment they know they will meet their goal. She is a member of the communal bank "Acraquia" and this is her fifth loan through MFP. She is counting on your support to reach her goals. She is committed to paying back the loan on time. If you can help Julia she plans to invest the money in a new Brown Swiss cow that will give good milk.
