Denise, aged 46, is a merchant who lives in the Kamenge de la Mairie district of the city of Bujumbura. She has been in the business of selling grocery products (Fanta, rice, beans, oil) for 11 years. She is also a farmer. She attended school until the fifth year of primary school. She is a widow with four children who attend school.

The Kiva loan of 300,000 Burundi francs will increase her working capital and allow her to buy large quantities of grocery products (Fanta, rice, beans, oil) to sell in order to make good profits and therefore increase her savings.

She is a member of the community group "TUREME 1."
