Djuma is a businessman aged 52 who lives in Quartier Buyenzi, Bujumbura. He has had a restaurant for 25 years. This is a business he began when he was a chauffeur. He did not attend school. He is married to Assa who sells various household articles retail. The two of them have six children who are enrolled in school.

The Kiva loan of 160,000 Burundi francs that he is receiving will permit him to add to his working capital so that he can buy a lot of foodstuffs for his restaurant in order to make a lot of profit.
