A loan of $750 helped to buy more animals and their respective feed.

Betzabe's story

Betzabe, 24, is single and lives in her parents' house, which has water and electricity, located in the district of Bambamarca in the department of Cajamarca. The people in this area work in agriculture and livestock.

Betzabe has been raising and selling yard animals (pigs and chickens) for several years. Her corrals, located behind her house, are appropriate and spacious. She feeds her animals balanced feed and natural grains so they will have optimum growth. In this way she will be able to sell them in the different markets in the area and make a good profit to pay her personal expenses.

She has requested a loan of 2000 PEN from Edpyme Alternativa to buy more animals and their respective feed. With the profits she makes from the sale of her animals she will be able to cover her loan as well as have a better quality of life.

Betzabe is a woman who with effort and great determination has known how to get ahead by herself to continue helping her parents economically.
