A loan of $575 helped to buy tables, cases of beer and to equip the restroom.

Nadine's story

Nadine, 35, is an enterprising, dynamic woman. She’s separated from her husband but lives with her parents, her son, her brother and her cousin. Nadine’s business consists in selling fast food; she equipped a space in her house to do so setting up tables and chairs. Seeing that this is an area with quite a bit of foot traffic she decided to open the business ten years ago. She currently has quite a large clientele. Her brother and her aunt are the ones that help the most with tending to the public. What she enjoys the most about her work is that she earns income that allows her to cover household expenses and provide an education for her son who she loves very much. However, the price of ingredients for her meal preparation is more expensive very day. Despite this she still considers this business to be profitable.

This would be loan #5 with MFP. She comments that she feels comfortable and very good in her communal bank because she considers the members to be responsible, kind people who try their best to be punctual with their payments. She will use the requested amount to buy beer at wholesale, tables for the locale and to finish furnishing the restroom to offer better customer service.
