A loan of $2,800 helped a member to purchase clothes and day old chicks to raise.

Odzi Group's story

Gloria is 56 years old and has been running her own businesses for many years. Currently, she makes money from two activities: buying and selling clothes in the local market and raising chickens. Both businesses are going well but the clothing business is in decline because import restrictions and duties are making the import of clothes less profitable. Gloria has borrowed $400 and will use the money to buy day old chicks and fund her cross-border transactions. She hopes that the profit will enable her to fund her son's college education. She dreams that one day she will have her own boutique.
