Enver's story

Enver is 64 years old. He lives in the village of Zeniti in the Adjara Region. He lives with his family: his wife Zhuzhuna and their 18-year-old son. All family members are involved in the family agricultural business. They have a milk cow. Milk is used for cheese production. Produced cheese is sold in the local market. In addition, the family owns a tangerine garden on 0.6 hectare of land and they have 400 nut trees. Harvested tangerine and nuts are sold to local retailers and wholesalers.

Along with agriculture, Enver works as a taxi driver. He provides transportation services to the local population. The total average monthly income of the family is 800 Laris (approximately 485 USD).

Enver requested a loan for the family agricultural business. In particular, he will enclose the nut garden and purchase wooden boxes to store the harvested tangerines prior to sale.
