Koskey is 32 and married with six children, ages from three months to six years. She runs a hardware shop in the local market and her farm produces milk and tea for the local market. She has been in farming for the last five years.
Koskey has requested a loan of 70,000 KES from Juhudi Kilimo to purchase a dairy cow. She says the dairy cow will provide milk for her family's consumption and will improve their general living standards. This is Koskey’s third loan with Juhudi Kilimo and she adds she will be prompt with payment.
She laments the common animal diseases which reduce their production.
