A loan of $1,550 helped a member to purchase wool, fabrics and materials.

Jibek's Group's story

Jibek is the leader of this group. She is 56 and, unfortunately, a widow. Nine years ago, with an initial investment of 1,000 KGS, Jibek started to breed livestock. She resells the livestock after fattening, earning about 3,000 KGS per month to meet her daily needs. She has raised a son who helps her in running this business.

At the moment Jibek plans to start taking orders for sewing Kyrgyz national clothing, blankets and pillows. With money received from this loan, she wants to purchase wool, fabrics and materials. In the future, Jibek plans to open a private sewing workshop.
