A loan of $1,450 helped a member to purchase fuel and hire labor for collecting the harvest.

Dinara's Group's story

Dinara is the leader of this group. She is 54 and married to a man who works in the fish factory. Dinara herself works as a nurse. Six years ago, with an initial investment of 10000 soms, the family started to cultivate agricultural products for making additional money to family budget. With the profits gained from selling agricultural products the couple was able to provide their children with a good education. They also purchased household appliances and improved their living conditions. Dinara applies for the loan because she needs money to purchase fuel and hire labor for collecting the harvest. In the future she dreams to purchase a house in Bishkek (capital of Kyrgyzstan).
