Cheikh Dahi's story

The borrower is a married man, who is father to four children, two of whom are at school. He is trained builder and works as a builder, but he also has a farming and animal rearing activity. He has four hectares of land on which he grows groundnut, millet and corn. Each year he buys cows which he fattens up and resells after four months. This diversity of activities allows him to provide for his family's needs. He is currently requesting a loan of 500,000 francs in order to buy two cows. His ambition is to expand his farming and animal rearing activities.
