Mher's story

Mher is 38 years old. He was born and grew up in Srashen village in the Kapan area. Since his youth Mher together with his parents has worked in agriculture in his native village. Mher is married and lives separately from his parents with his wife, two daughters who are 10 and 2 years old and a son who is 8 years old. Mher works as a welder but since his salary is not big, he and his wife also have an agriculture business. In their own garden Mher and his wife grow vegetables and fruits and also raise bees. They also have a rented plot of land in the village where Mher plants wheat. Mher and his wife sell their agricultural products in Kapan city. Revenues from their agriculture business help Mher to properly support his family and to help his parents. Mher needs a loan of 800,000 Armenian dram to purchase new varieties of wheat seeds and potato seeds and to purchase new boxes for bees.
