A loan of $1,725 helped a member to buy beef, chicken, condiments, and other things.

Kuña Pukavy Group's story

The Women’s Committee by the name of Kuña Pukavy was formed this year, and with hard work they are already in their second loan cycle. Today they all work together as a supportive group within foundation’s group for women entrepreneurs. In addition to each one’s independent work, they have also developed joint businesses in order to raise funds to have working capital within the group and, at the same time, to help each other financially support their families.

Juatina’s story is very moving. She works selling all types of food, like empanadas, sandwiches, and other things. She says that she has attracted her customers thanks to her good food. She would like to be able to continue her work which is why she asked for this loan which is for the purchase of beef, chicken, condiments, and other things. She thanks the Fundación for the opportunity it’s given her.

In this group: Juatina, Claudia, Ignacia, Nicolasa, Dilma, Bacilia, Marciana, Rosa, Basilicia, Florentina, De Las Nieves, Blasida, Severiana*
