Roberto Enrique's story

In the Peñitas, one of the most visited tourist sites in the city of Leon, lives Roberto a 39 year old simple merchant, an owner of a small grocery store that he and his wife run together. He is the father of three children who are 16, 12, and 8 years of age, with all of them in school.

All his life Roberto has been in business. He has been a street vendor since he was 19 years old, and has worked with all types of appliances, costume jewelry, clothing, shoes, and house utensils. He has had a grocery store for 8 years that his wife manages, and he works also selling appliances, and this is how he earns his daily bread.

He is asking for this loan in order to buy sweets, soups, juices, water, soda, bread, rice, sugar, oil, beans, eggs, meat, and cleaning products. These are some of the products that he needs and are most requested by his customers and with the loan he can better supply his store. His dream is to be able to build a house for his children so they can live in a decent place in an environment of a basic and normal life.
