The solidarity group was created on May 28, 2001. It consists of thirteen women who live in the same neighborhood. Their principal activity is commerce.

Madame Sona is on the right of the photo raising her hand and is the leader of the group. She is 41 years old. She is married and the mother of eight children. She also takes care of her co-spouse's family.

She is active in the sale of porridge and vegetables. She has good experience in this area of business which she has practiced for several years.

This loan will permit her to build her capital and to better develop her business.

The profits will permit her to improve the living conditions of her family (health, food, clothing etc...) and to increase her savings.
