Navin is 53 years old. She is a farmer and also sells cakes. She earns $2 per day. Navin is a single mother who lives with one daughter who is studying. Her other children got married and live with their families.
Every month, Navin has to spend $37 on food, $2.50 on electricity, $5 on school fees, and $3 on transportation. She would like to request a loan of $1000 to buy fabric for her daughter, who just got married, to make clothes to sell. She doesn’t want to change her career to do anything else because she only lives with one daughter and her income can support the family well.
