A loan of $750 helped to buy nutritionally balanced animal feed and fertilizer.

Armando's story

Armando, 21, lives with his family in his own house that lacks basic utilities and is located in a rural part of Tambogrande District that belongs to Piura Department. It’s a zone noted for farming, animal husbandry and crafts making.

For a few years now Armando has been raising sheep. His corral, which is apt for this purpose, is located in his back yard. He feeds his animals nutritionally balanced feed and natural grasses so that they will reach optimal growth and be sold at various local markets earning good profits to cover household expenses. He also has land where he grows lemons which when harvested represent an additional source of household income.

He has asked Edpyme Alternativa for a 2000 new sol loan to buy nutritionally balanced feed and fertilizer to improve his farmland. With profits obtained from both activities he’ll be able to repay the loan as well as have a better quality of life. Armando is a person who through much effort and dedication has managed to move his family forward toward attaining their set goals.
