A loan of $300 helped to buy groceries, sodas and beer.

Jose's story

Jose, 40, is a good man and very responsible. He is single and lives with his mother to whom he dedicates as much time as possible to cheer her up and give her the best quality of life possible. They live in their own house. Jose's work consists of selling staple groceries such as rice, sugar, milk and other items. He set up the store in his home seven months ago. His mother takes care of the store when he's not there, since he also works at the health office in the city.

He enjoys his business because his investment generates a daily income. It also keeps his mother busy so she doesn't feel alone and bored. He wants the business to get stronger so he can expand and set up his own minimarket. This is his first loan through MFP and he is counting on each of you to help him continue with his business. He plans to use the loan to buy groceries for the store, as well as beverages such as sodas and beer which provide more profit.
