A loan of $600 helped to buy fruit, meat, vegetables, condiments, and staples such as flour and rice.

Juana's story

Juana is fifty-seven years old and lives with her partner and their grandson, in thier own house. She has a fruit stall, as well as a small diner which she opens on Sundays. She has built up a good customer base because the fruit she sells is fresh and very good quality. People also like her diner because she cooks delicious dishes such as soups and grilled meat, in a very hygenic kitchen. Everything she sells, she sells at affordable prices. Juana is a woman who is full of energy and who likes to get up early for her work. For her, the key to success is simply doing what we do to the best of our ability, and looking after her business is what she does best. For this reason she has come to INTEGRAL seeking a loan to buy fruit in wholesale quantities, and ingredients for her dishes, such as meat, vegetables, condiments, and staples such as flour and rice. Juana has faith that in this way she will succeed in improving her family's quality of life.
