A loan of $300 helped to buy raw materials for her food preparation.

Loy's story

Loy, 27, is a hardworking, enterprising and dynamic woman living with her spouse, Víctor, and their four children in her own house. Loy sells fast food like ‘salchipapas’ [fried potatoes with sausage] and ‘salchipollo’ [fried potatoes with chicken] from a little cart or movable stand that she parks in front of her house during the evening. This is how she takes care of all her customers who for the most part are neighbors and friends. She’s been in this line of work for two years and her spouse is most supportive taking care of customers.

What she likes about her work is having income that allows her to help her spouse with household expenses. She plans to expand the business and open a restaurant with all the necessary furnishings.

This will be the 3rd MFP loan and she hopes for support from all of you. She will use the requested amount to buy a refrigerator to store the perishables she uses to prepare her dishes.
