Jubboo Group's story

This solidarity group was created on May 28, 2001. It is comprised of fifteen women who live in the same district. Their main work involves small-scale commerce. Ms. Rose, the one at the right in the photo with her hand raised, is the group's official. She is 52 years old and a married mother of eight children. She also supports two other children, who were entrusted to her by her parents.

Ms. Rose is active in selling vegetables, peanuts, and chilled water. She has good experience in this business domain. She has been working in it for several years.

This loan will enable her to bolster her capital and to develop her businesses further. The profits will allow her to improve her family's living conditions (health care, food, clothing, etc. ...) and to increase her savings.
