A loan of $10,000 helped to pay for a chemical fumes extractor and materials for facials and waxing.

Emibel's story

Emibel is originally from Puerto Rico and has been in the beauty salon business for more than 20 years. Her salon, Le Cache Salon, has been successfully operating for 4 years. The welcoming environment of the salon pulls in customers of every ethnicity, from the lower class to the upper middle class. Emibel says her clients come as far as New Jersey to experience her services. Those services include--but are not limited to--hair extensions, keratin treatment, Japanese relaxers, hair coloring and styling. Emibel has employed four hair stylists, two full-time and two part-time.

This loan will allow Emibel to purchase a chemical fumes extractor, which will help her protect herself, her customers and her employees from the potentially harmful chemicals that she uses daily in the salon. Also, she will purchase another chair and materials to extend her services to waxing and facials.
