A loan of $2,500 helped to purchase shoes wholesale for autumn and winter for sale at her store.

Tatyana's story

Tatyana lives in the Nikopol. She has a husband, two adult daughters and a granddaughter. Tatyana is involved in sales of athletic shoes and has a selection of women's and men's summer to winter shoes. She started her own business 15 years ago. Since 1990s, her son worked as a salesperson at the market, selling athletic clothing. He was the one who recommended that his parents choose this merchandise when they started their business. Tatyana sold at the market until 2004, and in 2004, she re-purposed a previously-purchased store and started selling at a store, and left the market. Tatyana plans to use the Kiva loan of 20,000 hryvnia to purchase shoes wholesale for autumn and winter for sale at her store. Tatyana is able to choose a selection of merchandise so well that practically any customer would be able to find what they need. Her goal for herself is to make a consistent profit and use it to help children and their families.
