A loan of $1,700 helped a member to purchase livestock.

Tolobek's Group's story

Tolobek is a member of this group. He is 50 and he has three children. His daughter studies at the university and the two other children work in Bishkek (the capital of Kyrgyzstan). Two years ago because of the high unemployment rate, Tolobek started to breed livestock with an initial investment of 15,000 soms. By reselling livestock after fattening, he earns about 10,000 soms per month to meet the family needs. He applied for the loan because he needs additional money to purchase more livestock for breeding, fattening and further reselling. In the future with the profits gained from reselling livestock, he plans to repair the house.
