Mujeres Emprendedoras Group's story

This group from the city of Encarnación was formed when one of its members contacted Fundación Paraguaya. The group are in their first loan cycle and this is their first year with Fundación Paraguaya. They came together with the goal of making more income for each member and thereby improving the living conditions of each of them. One of the members of this group is Elena. Elena has three children and is married to Cristino. Her husband works as a night watchman and she has run a food kiosk for several years. Elena tells us that she always makes good sales as her customers always come to her business which makes her good income. She is requesting this loan to buy food and drink to sell to her customers. She sees the loan as a great help which will enable her to continue running her small business.
