A loan of $900 helped to equip and repair his business, to maintain his mills on site and to invest in the purchase of staple grains.

Rene Omar's story

René lives in Subtiava, a very picturesque and well-known neighborhood in the city of León. He is a business man who owns mills. He is 54 years old, married, and has three children who are 23, 22, and 17 years old. His oldest son is a telematics engineer; the other two are still in school. This business has been passed down from generation to generation; his parents and grandparents were the ones who were in charge of this business. However, he has run it on his own for approximately 23 years. He is asking for the loan to equip and repair his business, to maintain his mills on site and to invest in the purchase of staple grains. This will help him give his business a better appearance and provide better service to his customers. One of his future plans is to expand by setting up more mills in different areas of the city of León. His next goal is to help his two youngest children finish their professional studies.
